Two dentists, six operatories, and a fee schedule anyone can read before they walk in.
Who you will actually see.
Dr. Priya Raman, DDS
Practice owner · TX licensed
UT Health San Antonio, 2011. Bought this practice in 2018 from a dentist who had run it for thirty years, kept the entire front-desk team, and spent the first year publishing the fee schedule that most of her colleagues told her was a mistake. It was not.
Dr. Beto Salcido, DDS
Dentist · TX licensed
Texas A&M College of Dentistry, 2016. Does most of the same-day crown and root canal work, and speaks Spanish with patients who would rather not do dentistry in their second language.
Carmen Villalobos
Practice manager · 14 years here
Ran the front desk under the previous owner and stayed. She is the person who runs your benefits check and the reason the estimate you get is usually right.
Three commitments, and what they cost us.
One
No commission, no quotas
Nobody in this building is paid more for recommending a crown. There is no monthly production target on a whiteboard. That is unusual in corporate-owned dentistry and it is the main reason this practice is not corporate-owned.
Two
We will tell you to wait
A watch-and-monitor recommendation is a real recommendation. Roughly one in five treatment plans we write includes something we have explicitly told the patient does not need doing this year.
Three
Published fees, no exceptions
The number on the fees page is the number. It does not move for insured versus uninsured, or for a patient who looks like they could afford more. Publishing it removes the temptation entirely.
